He began his career in 1989 with the Bouygues group, where he held successive positions as General Secretary of TPS (satellite television), Development Director of TF1 and Chief Executive Officer of TF1 Production. He then served as Chief Executive Officer of the iliad Group from 2007 through 2018. On May 21, 2018 he was appointed as Chairman of iliad's Board of Directors. Since March 16, 2020 he has held the role of Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, working alongside Xavier Niel. Maxime is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris and holds a post-graduate degree in business law and tax law from the University of Paris II.
