The FTTH Conference 2023 is scheduled as follows:

The FTTH Conference 2023 is happening at the North Congress Centre and Exhibition Hall 9 of IFEMA Feria de Madrid, Av. del Partenón 5, 28042 Madrid, Spain

Located on the east-side of the city, IFEMA is only 5 minutes away from Madrid's Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport and 20 minutes away from the city centre (40 mins in rush hour).

BY TAXI

If you're arriving at the IFEMA by taxi, your driver should enter the venue via the South entrance. However, as the FTTH Conference is being held in the North Congress Centre, taxi drivers should turn left as they approach the venue and continue anti-clockwise around to the rear of the venue (the North entrance) please tell your taxi NOT to drop-off at the South entrance. The taxi drop-off point is located close to the North Congress Centre entrance, from which you can access the foyer and registration desks to collect your badge.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

You can reach IFEMA via metro line 8 (metro stop "Feria de Madrid"), which is located just in front of the South Entrance. A bus shuttle service to the North Congress Centre is available to those conference attendees who arrive on foot. The bus shuttle pick-up point is on your left immediately in front of the IFEMA venue. Signage will direct you to the bus shuttle. The bus shuttle drop-off is located close to the North Congress Centre entrance, from which you can access the foyer and registration desks to collect your badge.

BY CAR

If you are driving to IFEMA, you will need to enter IFEMA premises via the South entrance. As the FTTH Conference is being held in the North Congress Centre, cars should turn left as they approach the venue and continue anti-clockwise around to the rear of the venue. Paid for parking spaces are available to Conference attendees as illustrated on the map. After parking your car, you should enter the venue from the North Congress Centre main entrance, from which you will be able to access the foyer and the registration desks, where you can collect your badge.

ON FOOT

If you are walking to IFEMA, you should enter the premises from the South entrance. A bus shuttle service is available to conference attendees to the North Congress Centre (on the other side of the venue), where the FTTH Conference is being held. The bus shuttle pick-up point is on your left immediately in front of the IFEMA venue. Signage will direct you to the bus shuttle. The bus shuttle drop-off is located close to the North Congress Centre entrance, from which you can access the foyer and registration desks to collect your badge.

Madrid is a city of contrasting styles, reflecting clearly the different periods in which change and development took place. The old centre, a maze of small streets around a few squares in the vicinity of the imposing Plaza Mayor, contrasts with the stately Neoclassical buildings and grand boulevards created by the most eminent architects of their day. Modern office buildings in the centre and swaths of apartment blocks around the outskirts attest to the styles and economic realities of present-day development
