FTTH Council Global Alliance Sustainability Survey Reveals Varied Stages of Global Telecom Initiatives but Fiber is Consistently Green

WASHINGTON, D.C., 24 April 2023—The FTTH Council Global Alliance (FCGA) announced it has published the results from its global Sustainability Survey. The survey explored Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategies throughout the telecom industry with network operators, service providers, and vendors across five geographical regions. The results reveal that some regions are far more advanced than others, but fiber’s sustainable properties will help the global telecom industry achieve ESG and CSR goals.
